Job description: Electrical EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to handle wire harness issues, design, and assemble wire harnesses, and focus on process improvements including tooling and engineering. - Handle wire harness issues and design solutions.
- Assemble wire harnesses effectively.
- Implement process improvements in tooling and engineering.
- Collaborate with technicians, leadership, and design engineers.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in electrical engineering or manufacturing with a bachelor’s in engineering, OR 3+ years as an engineering technician with leadership experience, OR 1+ year of wire harness experience.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards, SolidWorks, Creo, and NX.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred.
- Hands-on manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 – $48.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
