Job description: Location: Jersey City, NJPay Range: $65-$70/hr on W2Required Skills & Qualifications
- Python development experience – must-needed with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
- Java development – must-needed with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- SQL programming experience – minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably with databases such as Oracle Exadata.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for the company on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in Quartz (internal bank platform) is preferred but optional.
- UNIX scripting experience and unit test mock frameworks would be preferred.
- Experience working with agile methodologies and SDLC processes would be preferred.
- Knowledge of performance tuning data-intensive applications.
- Expertise in performance profiling, ability to identify performance improvements and memory optimizations.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise application implementation.
- Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative tech-based solutions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Background in capital calculations.
- Knowledge and/or experience working within the Hadoop or other big data distributed ecosystem.
- Knowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing.
