Skills Required:
- Possesses knowledge and experience in analysis and development of conceptual and detail designs of databases in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Ability to develop and share detailed technical knowledge and documentation to build, support, maintain, and troubleshoot OCI database systems, Skilled in OCI database performance tuning, Knowledge of Oracle Database 23ai and Enterprise Manager 24ai, Knowledge of Oracle Fusion, Skilled in developing automation scripts for routine database maintenance jobs using tools such as Unix Shell scripting, Ansible, and Jenkins, Ability to assist with developing database process standards and provide regular knowledge transfers to database support staff, Knowledge of AWS PostGreSQL database management and solutions, Possesses effective communication skills to collaborate with Client, project stakeholders, and vendors, Ability to develop project documents with detailed project requirements and timelines, Knowledge of Large Language Model based Artificial Intelligence tools, Oracle RAC management.
Experience Required:
- 8+ years of experience in the following: Systems development, analysis, Oracle database system management, and support.
- 3+ years of experience in the following: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) work experience, Oracle database upgrades from versions 12c to 19c and above, Building and configuring new Oracle databases in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Planning, deploying, managing Oracle Security Patches for databases in OCI, Configurations and deployments of Oracle Grid architectures, Migration of Oracle database systems from on-premise Linux, Unix to OCI, Oracle replication methods such as Data Guard, Development of automation scripts using Shell scripting, Python, CLI, Jenkins, Ansible, DevOps tools, Oracle database backups, restores, disaster recovery processes and designs, Oracle Enterprise Manager.
Education Preferred:
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or AWS certification
Additional Information:
- Hybrid and full-time telework options will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
- The selected candidate will be required to use their own computing device with audio and video capabilities to securely connect to employer’s network.
