Job description: Our Client in Bloomingdale, IL is looking for qualified candidate for a 1st shift Maintenance Custodian1st Shift
Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
$17.65/hrMaintenance Custodian Job Description
Clean and supply all plant restrooms several times daily
Fill supplies in office restrooms
Sweep all main aisles daily(All plant offices, including tool crib and receiving office).
Weekly cleaning of all plant telephones
Daily cafeteria cleanup mornings and afternoons.
Interior window cleaning
Interior office cleaning and vacuuming where needed.
Clean up of areas where assigned, guardrails, wall etc.
Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash and waste in designated areas.
Use touch screen computer to record time and attendance.
Inform foreman of supplies needed to be replenished
Performs other duties as assigned.
Will be trained to empty plant garbage and scrap.
Local Essential FunctionsMaintains a library of user manuals for office furniture and fixtures that can be referred to as necessary
Assist with setting up conference rooms for large presentations and business meetings
Assists Maintenance Technician as needed
Education and experienceHigh School Diploma or G.E.D.
Minimum one year experience in a custodian/janitor position requiredMust possess a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
Ability to read and communicate effectively
Ability to multi-task a variety of responsibilities and duties
Provide excellent customer service to internal employees
Physical demandsThis position requires 20% clerical and planning and 80% custodial / janitorial duties
Eye and foot protection may have to be worn
