The combined skills of our engineers, technicians and support personnel with their diverse backgrounds in design and construction provide clients with a team recognized as leaders in the field.Your Key ResponsibilitiesParticipates in all phases of commissioning projects which may include a variety of complex features, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of workPerforms engineering design reviews, prepare commissioning scripts and reports, direct client-site testing and manage the training of on-site staffPrepares equipment pre-start-up and start-up procedures; Development of standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and Methods of Procedures (MOPs); Comprehensive Commissioning documentationPrepares commissioning test procedures and reportsDevelops and maintains commissioning logs, equipment checklists, and other tools to track commissioning projectsPrepares comprehensive reports; recommendations for optimizing building operations, functional checklists, list of deficiencies, equipment operation and maintenance manualsReviews design criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittal, and other documentation pertinent to commissioningParticipates in commissioning activity meetingsInterfaces with construction contractors, vendors, and testing techniciansConducts tests and compile all testing procedure resultsIntegrates system testing, load Bank Testing, compilation of all testing procedure resultsDevelops and administers functional tests for various building Electrical systems, such as: UPS, Generator, Switchgears Power Distribution UnitsYour Capabilities and CredentialsData Center / Mission Critical Experience is an assetPrevious experience working on a mission critical facility construction site a plusLicensed PE or EIT in Electrical Discipline a plusLEED AP accreditation a plusCXA, AABC, ACG certification desiredExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal (this role requires heavy amount of writing, documentation, and client interaction)High competency in technical writing, systems development and utilizationExperience using Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCADExtensive knowledge of MEP systems and controls design, installation and operation a plusThis position will require domestic travelPossess a valid driver’s license with a good driving recordEducation and ExperienceTechnical/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or accredited college or university a plusMinimum 2 years of consulting engineering experience This description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
