Job description: We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer / CAD Professional to join our team, dedicated to transforming community infrastructure through innovative design. This role is pivotal in crafting site designs for a variety of projects, including multi-use developments, residential areas, commercial properties, and educational facilities. Your expertise will guide projects from initial concept to final approval, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive site designs, including grading, erosion, and sediment control.
- Conduct site investigations and research relevant design standards.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with contractors and clients.
- Oversee stormwater management and utility design.
- Manage drafting and design tasks independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications:
- 5 – 10+ years of relevant experience in civil design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
- Extensive experience in land development and site design.
- Knowledge of regulatory permitting (NPDES) and zoning approvals.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to manage and design multiple projects concurrently.
