Job description: We have an immediate opening for a skilled Transportation Designer in Raleigh, NC (27603). This is a direct hire opportunity with a flexible hybrid schedule and unlimited PTO.
- Pay: $85K+ depending on experience
- Schedule: MW in office, ThF work from home
- Term: Direct hire

What Youll Do:
- Design NCDOT transportation projects including highways, interchanges, and roundabouts
- Prepare roadway designs, signing, striping, and traffic control plans using OpenRoads and MicroStation V8i
- Collaborate across departments and mentor junior staff
- Coordinate plan sets from concept through final design
What Youll Need:
- 10+ years of roadway/highway design experience
- Strong working knowledge of OpenRoads and MicroStation V8i
- Experience with DOT standards (NCDOT preferred)
- Solid understanding of multi-modal and infrastructure design
