The Crewing Manager will manage a crewing team as well as coordinate the onboarding and hiring of Contractors as well as the facilitation of travel arrangements for live events. Additional duties include posting open jobs, building crew lists, processing time and expenses, supporting the Crewing Department, and cross-departmental collaboration. Also responsible for the classification and compliance of Contractors while negotiating and distributing confirmations for each vertical.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead, develop and advise crewing team on day to day responsibilitiesReports to Senior Manager of Remote OperationsCoordinate and disseminate accurate information to Director, Crewing Manager, and Crewing Coordinators as well as other departments involved in projectsWeekly reports/meetings with teams ensuring KP!’s are being metWeekly meetings with the Senior Manager of Remote Operations discussing strategies, and action items for the team.Manage Contractor travel arrangements, crew sheets, payroll assistance, reimbursement resolution, and the distribution of information to appropriate partiesCommunication to internal stakeholders and manage across all departmentsCoordinate building of all show templates and ensure payroll data is being enteredManage department systems and applications; including all aspects of Contractor hiring (W2, 1099, position), travel (staff and freelance)Ability to make smart decisions and seek assistance based on information provided as it relates to all the above to keep company compliantGeneral Crewing administration; onboarding, job postings, bulk hires, and data entryKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Background in basic live-sports production; familiarity and crewing preferredBS/BA degree preferredMust have understanding of how to work with across departments with managers on budgets and planning eventsAbility to make smart decisions and seek assistance based on information provided as it relates to all the above to keep company compliantMust have strong verbal and written communication skills, and the aptitude to communicate with all levels of managementIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is requiredBe able to build financial spreadsheets using Excel, Google SheetsSalesforce, Worksuite, eRecruit knowledge a plusExcellent organizational skills while having the ability to multitask, yet ask for proper direction when applicableIndependent thinker and ability to educate self with information providedMust be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while multitasking with attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent follow-upOUR COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY:FloSports exists to elevate the communities, athletes, and sports that have too often been overlooked.
