This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced machinery projects that drive productivity and shape the future of HVAC fabrication.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and manage automation projects from concept through completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.Develop and debug PLC programs and MMI interfaces for custom machines.Source and recommend appropriate control system hardware and vendors.Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues on new and existing equipment.Ensure compliance with electrical codes and company design standards.Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product quality and performance.Perform electrical design tasks, including logic systems, load requirements, cable diagrams, and testing procedures.Contribute to brainstorming sessions and offer feedback on system designs and improvements.Maintain thorough project documentation and testing records.
Preferred QualificationsBSEE or BSME with 05+ years of experience in industrial automation or machinery.Experience with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or B&R.Familiarity with UL/CSA/CE standards and industrial electrical codes.Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and industrial controls.Hands-on experience with machine shop environments (welding, milling, etc.) is a plus.Proficient with 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor preferred, SolidWorks acceptable).Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
