Our experts co-create products with customers to bring innovations to major industry sectors such as transportation, consumer goods, industrial applications, and construction.These solutions contribute to a sustainable future by pushing the boundaries in thermal resistance, robustness and lightweight applications.We are seeking a professional like you to coordinate the Engineering Plastics Compounding sites training programs, monitor employee comprehension of procedures, and manage the continuous improvement program .In this role, you will write and maintain all the site training procedures. You will develop and conduct training exercises for employees to verify comprehension. In addition, you will lead the sites continuous improvement program to drive Lean Six Sigma methodologies to all the site employees.As a Learning and Development Coordinator, you create chemistry by…
- Developing and providing unit-specific training, including refresher training and special needs training.
- Conducting hands-on training for site-specific material.
- Auditing and ensuring proper training documentation.
- Maintaining and updating all training materials.
- Balancing computer-based, classroom, and hands-on training to maximize effectiveness.
- Ensuring operating procedures are accurate and current by keeping all personnel up-to-date on MOC’s and procedure revisions.
- Performing as the final approver of qualification testing and learning verification.
- Implementing Lean manufacturing tools and Visual Management practices.
- Leading the processes for identification of Lean opportunities (e.g., SMED, 5S, Kaizen, etc.) and ensuring the ongoing success of 5S implementation at the site.
- Leading and participating in Lean implementation events.
- Supporting the implementation of succession plans and Process Optimization.
- Managing the Operational Excellence (OpEx) tracking database
If you…
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in maintenance,manufacturing or industrial engineering discipline.
- Are able to work independently under broad goals and objectives with minimal guidance. Also possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Have demonstrated leadership skills with focus on relationship building and strong interpersonal skills.
- Hold Lean Six Sigma certifications (preferred)
- Are proficient with MS Office
- Have experience with other computer programs preferred (i.e. Microsoft Power BI, video editing, etc.)
