Job description: SummaryThe Manufacturing Administrative Assistant is responsible for the coordination and flow of all office related activities. Success within this role is heavily dependent on attention to detail, excellent communication, and strong organization skills. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. This position will also require a self-motivated and trustworthy individual with a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior success as an Administrative Assistant in a manufacturing environment experience is a plus.ResponsibilitiesThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Manage phone calls, correspondence, and greet visitors
- Opens/distributes company mail
- Maintains and updates filing, inventory, mailing and database systems
- Orders, tracks, and stocks all office supplies
- Operates office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers
- Assists with New Hire coordination
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary and perform other clerical duties as assigned
- Perform all duties to the safety standards established as they relate to the position
- Serves as plant/corporate liaison

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

- Excel in fast paced and labor-intensive manufacturing environment
- Make independent decisions daily, addressing the best way to handle specific tasks
- You must know how to keep yourself and others organized and prioritize list of tasks assigned
