Job description: Stefan Beckman Studio is seeking a talented junior designer to join its team in New York. This position requires strong SketchUp drawing skills, an interest in art and fashion and a familiarity and knowledge of fine furniture.This is a very unique opportunity for a confident, self motivated designer with a broad range of interests. Our projects include set design, prop styling, exhibition design, event design and interior architecture.Requirements:
- B.A. degree in design, art, architecture or related field
- Ability to work in a variety of roles, under pressure and with a team
- Excellent SketchUp skills are a MUST. Please do not apply if your SketchUp skills are not strong.
- Excellent Adobe Suite skills are a MUST
- AutoCAD skills are a plus
- Knowledge of fabrication and construction methods
- Interest in fashion
