Job description: Certification Education License Other SkillAS in a technical discipline w/ 10 – 12 yrs exp or 12 – 16 yrs of practical work exp.Certification Education License Other SkillRequires an in-depth knowledge of engineering systems, applications, calculations, materials, construction methods, and relevant computer applications.Certification Education License Other SkillApplies advanced principles and practices in engineering to resolve problems identified by construction organizations in a timely manner.Certification Education License Other SkillContinued updating on new technologies and hardware in the industry is necessary.Certification Education License Other SkillCandidate must demonstrate 10 years of experience as a Plant Designer, including experience with site layouts, piping layouts, electrical commodity details, HVAC duct and equipment layouts, material handling, and vendor document reviews.Certification Education License Other SkillSignificant experience using Hexagon’s S3D software, Piping, Equipment and HVAC modules is required.Certification Education License Other SkillWorking knowledge of National Codes and Standards for design such as ASME B31.3 and NFPA 101 is required.Certification Education License Other SkillCandidate must be able to perform field walk-downsCertification Education License Other SkillCandidate must have the ability to produce quality documents with attention to detail.Certification Education License Other SkillPossession of an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years is preferred.Certification Education License Other SkillFormal training in Computer Aided Design or 3D modeling is preferred.Certification Education License Other SkillPrevious SRS Design Engineering or DOE facility experience is preferred
