Job title: Part-Time Instructional Designer (Remote)

Job description: Our client, a water technology provider, is seeking an Instructional Designer for a 12+ month, part-time contract opportunity. This role is fully remote but there is a preference for candidates in the eastern time zone.Potential Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify learning needs and develop highly innovative world-class learning content and experiences aligned with adult learning principles and relevant to the learning styles of diverse groups of users.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials in E-Learning format, using digital learning technologies such as Articulate Rise.
- Develop training sessions for employees at various organizational levels, ensuring content is impactful and relevant.
- Transform written content into visual descriptions (graphics and infographics) to captivate learners and maximize training effectiveness.
- Edit various multimedia elementsvideos, graphics, photos, effects, sound, and voiceoversas required.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree in instructional design, education or related field.
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders to develop, design, test and trial and further improve high impact learning materials
- 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, familiarity with adult learning theories and instructional design models i.e. ADDIE
- Demonstrated ability to develop programs directed at a diverse, global audiences.
- Track record of designing blended learning experiences, incorporating both E-learning and in-person development. Strong planning & organization with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to develop training materials that communicates the intended concepts or messages given by the project teams and provide recommendations to enhance the learning experience;
- Proficient in key instructional design tools such as Articulate, Adobe Illustrator, PowerPoint;
- Strong experience in copywriting, scripting and storyboarding
- Fluency in English, additional languages are appreciated;
- Preferred, not required: candidate has their own Articulate license
Pay Rate-$35.00- $59.53
