CTG is seeking a Business Systems Analyst IV to join our client’s Security and Network Infrastructure (SNI) group within the Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Operations Team. This role will play a key part in delivering innovative, foundational technology solutions for an enterprise-scale environment that includes two data centers, a service desk, thousands of distributed platforms, and significant mainframe operations.The ideal candidate will lead moderately complex to complex initiatives, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, with a strong focus on application functionality, user experience, and system testing. This position is based in Buffalo, and only Buffalo and Buffalo-based candidates will be considered.Primary Responsibilities:Prepare well-documented functional specifications, test plans, test cases, and execute test cases for assigned projectsLead moderately complex projects related to enterprise-wide initiatives, compliance requirements, or business-as-usual (BAU) system maintenanceAct as a mentor to less experienced team members, providing guidance in project methodology and application functionalityCoordinate and facilitate project team meetingsAnalyze moderately complex data to ensure accuracy in functional designParticipate in design discussions and document functional specifications accordinglyWork with business lines to understand application requirements and ensure alignment with end-user expectationsProvide input to technology teams to support user needs and product deliveryEstimate timelines and project phases for initiatives of varying complexityCoordinate testing efforts, including preparation and execution of test plans and support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Document and support data mapping activities for system integrations and acquisitionsServe as the primary liaison between technical teams and vendors as neededMonitor change requests to ensure scope adherence and compliance with regulatory requirementsCoordinate post-implementation activities including feedback collection, issue resolution, and performance assessmentsPromote an environment aligned with company values, diversity, and internal control standardsScope of Responsibilities:Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all functional specificationsEnsure compliance with corporate technology standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management policiesIdentify and escalate risk-related issues as necessaryCollaborate across applications and business units to support technology integration and project deliverySupervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:May lead or mentor junior analysts and coordinate cross-functional project teamsResponsible for acting as a functional lead for assigned initiatives, managing deliverables, and ensuring timely executionEducation and Experience Required:Combined minimum of 5 years of higher education and/or relevant operational/business analytics experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsLateral thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesProficient in using project management, word processing, and spreadsheet toolsSolid understanding of the business area supported and relevant technical applicationsEducation and Experience Preferred:Bachelor’s degreeSubject matter expertise in supported business systems/applicationsExperience with multiple moderately complex to complex projectsUnderstanding of application development platforms, integration frameworks, and infrastructure environmentsFamiliarity with banking applications and terminologyDemonstrated ability to coordinate between technical and business teamsDetail-oriented with a proactive mindsetExperience with acquisition or conversion projects is a plusExcellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.CTG does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services for this role.To Apply:
