Job description: Columbia Cabinets is seeking a talented Kitchen Designer to join our team in Armonk, NY. This role requires a strong design background, sales expertise, and excellent client communication skills.Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and accurately measure interior spaces.
- Develop kitchen designs, including hand drawings and renderings.
- Prepare detailed proposals with descriptions and pricing.
- Conduct client meetings and design presentations.
- Manage orders and coordinate with the factory.
- Provide showroom coverage and engage with walk-in clients.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of sales and design experience with a proven track record of driving sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Experience in high-end retail is a plus.
- Strong understanding of interior space planning and residential construction.
- Ability to read architectural plans and create design presentations.
- Proficient in site measuring and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of design software and Salesforce (a strong plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills; personable and client-focused.
