Your responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for the automated victim notification system (VISOR), provide scheduling support for victim services programs, and assisting with Volunteer and Contractor Services and Visiting Services. You will process visiting applications, manage caseload maintenance, help maintain accurate records, and will ensure compliance with DOC policies statewide.Additionally, you are responsible for developing procedures, systems, and forms to ensure efficient workflow, reviewing Administrative Rules for consistency and compliance. You will also coordinate program meetings, workshops, and document flow to meet deadlines. You will also help explain rule and procedure and performance statistics for reporting purposes.This position is represented by American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME). This position may be eligible for Police & Fire (P&F) benefits through Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), as defined by statute.Minimum QualificationsTwo (2) years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; ORAn associate degree in general office occupations and one (1) year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; ORAn equivalent combination of education and experienceRequested Skills

Your work and leadership must adhere to and further the rules, policies and procedures of the Department, the Correctional Services Division and the Programs and Services Unit.This position is designated as a full time, in office working position. When working or training on the grounds of a correctional facility, you are required to follow basic security protocols and will work around AICs. There may be in-state travel that may include overnight stays.You must be able to move full boxes that may weigh 30 lbs.
