This role will focus on identifying and developing high-impact strategic partnerships and driving significant revenue growth through these alliances. This individual will have a proven track record of building and scaling successful partnerships within the e-commerce and/or influencer marketing space. This role offers a significant opportunity for rapid career advancement, with the expectation to lead strategic partnerships within 12 months.Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership Identification & Development: Identify, qualify, and develop strategic partnerships with key players in the e-commerce and influencer marketing ecosystem, including agencies, technology platforms, and complementary service providers. Focus on partnerships that drive significant revenue and expand Superfiliate’s market reach.
- Lead Generation: While we have a lot of partners inbounding us to explore partnership opportunities, you will be required to dedicate a portion of your time to outbounding (email, Linkedin, etc) large numbers of agencies to explore net-new partnership opportunities.
- Partnership Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive partnership strategies, including target partner identification, value proposition development, and joint go-to-market planning.
- Negotiation & Relationship Management: Lead complex partnership negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements, and cultivate deep, long-term relationships with senior-level executives at partner organizations.
- Revenue Generation & Growth: Develop and execute joint marketing and sales initiatives with partners to drive lead generation, increase brand awareness, and achieve significant revenue targets. This includes developing co-marketing plans, joint sales enablement programs, and performance tracking mechanisms.
- Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, potential partners, and strategic opportunities within the e-commerce and influencer marketing landscape.
- Performance Measurement & Optimization: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure partnership success, analyze performance data, and identify areas for optimization and growth. Provide regular reporting on partnership performance to leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, sales) to ensure seamless integration of partner programs and maximize the value of strategic alliances.
- Industry Leadership & Representation: Represent Superfiliate at industry events and conferences, building relationships with potential partners and staying ahead of market trends.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in strategic business development, partnership management, or a related role within the e-commerce and/or influencer marketing industry. A demonstrable track record of building and scaling successful partnerships is essential.
- Established Network: Existing relationships with key players (agencies, technology platforms, etc.) in the e-commerce and influencer marketing space are highly desirable.
- Strategic Thinking & Planning: Demonstrated ability to think strategically about partnership opportunities, develop comprehensive partnership plans, and execute those plans effectively.
- Negotiation & Deal-Making Skills: Exceptional negotiation and deal-making skills, with the ability to structure complex partnership agreements and achieve favorable outcomes.
- Relationship Building & Management: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and cultivate strong relationships with senior-level executives.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop data-driven recommendations.
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the e-commerce and influencer marketing landscape, including current trends, best practices, and competitive dynamics.
- Results Orientation: A strong focus on results and a proven track record of exceeding partnership and revenue targets.
- Leadership Potential: A strong desire to take initiative, contribute to team growth, and progress into a leadership position within 12 months.
