Job description: Business Development ManagerSummary: This Business Development Manager will report directly to the Hatalom Corporation Business Development Vice President and will be working on the pursuit of opportunities and will establish and put in place the capture strategy, customer influence based on competitive analysis, teaming arrangements to increase probability of win, and subsequent proposal strategies including solution and pricing positioning. The Business Development Manager will manage opportunity qualification to the proposal process and to the award.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and implement strategies and actions that create, identify, develop and qualify profitable new business opportunities that grow the business.
- Identify new opportunities and support the prioritizing of opportunities.
- Have a thorough understanding of the Training and Simulation industry.
- Maintain customer and partner relationships.
- Identify and develop new relationships with teaming partners.
- Develop new business and/or expanding into new markets.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies, plans, and actions from analyzing market, customer, and competitor data.
- Capture key customer and competitive intelligence and share it across the company.
- Analyze and develop Price To Win and win themes for captures.
- Develop and present capture plan to the leadership on an appropriate basis and in line with the Lead to Award process (lead, qualification, capture, proposal).
- Identify and approach potential partners to create relevant teaming agreements, in line with the capture plan In collaboration with the Vice President of BD
- Influence the requirements of the customer to improve the probability of win.
- Responsible for the development and submission of responses to Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought, Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Solutions (RFS) and Requests for Quotes (RFQ).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None at the current time.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Good knowledge of the lead to award process
- Relevant experience in leading and winning DoD business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively and in a constructive and synthetic manner with customers, coworkers, management and executives.
- Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to find solutions while working independently.
- Maintain a positive keen attitude and a strong competitive drive.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
