Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Evaluates applications for participation in the programs listed above
Conducts desk reviews/audits of applications
Provides technical assistance to organizations applying for participation in the programs
Makes recommendations for corrections needed for approval of sponsoring organizations
Maintains/updates reports on electronic tracking system for approval of program applicants and approved sponsors
Monitors and updates program on-line application system for new and continuing sponsors
Provides telephone and online technical assistance for program applicants and sponsoring organizations
Maintains tracking systems for all Child Nutrition Program contracts/agreements between participating sponsors and the Division of Nutrition support
Monitors deliverables, payments and contractor evaluations
Ensures that required documents are included in Division contracts and that all timelines are met
Determines purchasing needs of staple Division supplies to maintain ongoing operations, for inventory items (hardware and software), for conferences and workshops, and for other specialized functions
Researches vendors and products to determine the most cost effective purchases.Applicants with the following skills and experience are encouraged to apply:

Performs responsible duties related to the proper operation, coordination, and management of at least two of the following administrative functions:Laundry, Mail Operations, Printing, Telecommunications, Vehicle Management, Dietary, Facility Maintenance, Risk Management, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Records Management, Rentals and Leases, Safety, Security, Budget, Contracts/Grants, Fiscal Management (payroll, payables, receivables, etc.), Information Technology, and Personnel.PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
