Job description: Remote Technical Sales SpecialistAs a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be the in-field technical expert, driving growth by promoting and selling manufacturing equipment related to processing, material handling, and storage systems. This role focuses on building long-term relationships within feed mills, combining technical problem-solving with strategic sales execution.Key Responsibilities
- Directly sell equipment to on-farm and small-to-medium feed mills.
- Develop and nurture business relationships with feed mill operators, dealers, and other key stakeholders.
- Establish a detailed call program, keeping accurate records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
- Collaborate with customers and the engineering team to provide tailored solutions that enhance profitability and competitiveness.
- Provide commissioning and post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Partner with sales managers to identify opportunities and align strategies within the territory.
- Represent the company at trade shows, seminars, and industry conventions.
- Maintain technical expertise on products and competitor offerings.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5 -10+ years in feed mill technology, operations, or maintenance.
- Background in manufacturing and facility operations.
- Strong understanding of processing systems, rates of production, and automation systems.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude.
- Results-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and 2D/3D software.
Expected salary: $120000 per year
