Compensation Range: $40 – 58 per hourWe’re looking for a passionate Mobile App Designer to join our client’s Customer Experience organization.As a Mobile App Designer, you will be involved early in the product development process, from brainstorming ideas to ensuring design quality and integrity through launch. Using your full range of interaction, visual, motion, and product thinking skills, you will realize digital solutions that fuel the core of experiences on our products. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, innovative, and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Writers and Product Managers to deliver compelling UX solutions for our mobile app and connected audio products.
- Leverage user research and cutting-edge technologies in advanced development to craft cohesive experiences for both mobile app platforms and on-product interfaces.
- Implement and uphold a comprehensive design system, serving as a repository of reusable design patterns and assets to promote consistency and efficiency.
- Create user journeys, storyboards, wireframes and screen flows.
- Understand and balance the priorities of internal stakeholders, engineers and business needs.
- Track and communicate project status.
- Manage workload and meeting deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Design or design-related field.
- Minimum 3+ years UX related experience (for a large consumer electronics brand preferred).
- Experience with connectivity technologies (Bluetooth, WiFi).
- Experience designing on multiple platforms (iOS, Android) preferred.
- Portfolio that demonstrates creating concepts and detailing the customer journey.
- Strong design fundamentals (typography, color, spacing, etc.).
- Proficient in Figma, Adobe Create Cloud, FigJam, Jira.
- Capable of investigating new tools.
- Focus on details, organization and clear communication.
- Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
- A collaborative attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
- Motivation to produce and improve high-quality deliverables.
