A laptop will not be provided.****No computer programming/coding will be performed in this position.**Description:The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking a SharePoint Technical Specialist – Mid Level – ECM Solutions Designer for a 12-month contract engagement for the Engineering Application Services Department. The Technical Specialist/Solution Designer will design and implement SharePoint and web-based solutions that enhance critical Preconstruction processes within NCDOT’s Transportation Life Cycle. Key responsibilities include translating requirements into user stories, tracking project progress, testing solutions, training users on new processes and systems, consulting with clients, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate has business analysis experience, expertise in designing custom SharePoint solutions, analytical and communication skills to collaborate with both business and IT partners, SDLC/Agile knowledge, and technical writing abilities. Familiarity with NCDOT’s systems and business processes is preferred. This hands-on, self-motivated professional will improve content management and workflows that deliver value across NCDOT.
