Salary Range: $82,296.00 – 106,628.00 per yearRole Purpose StatementWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, People Development to join our team @ LSG Sky Chefs! In this strategic role, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of impactful learning and development programs across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to align learning initiatives with our business goals, ensuring that employees at all levels have the resources and guidance to thrive in their roles. We are looking for innovators and executors!The People Development Manager will lead our employee growth and development initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation in development programs. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing programs that foster employee growth, enhance skills and support career development. This role is essential in fostering a culture of continuous learning, employee engagement, leveraging technology for enriched learning experiences, and ensuring that our workforce is equipped with the skills needed for current and future success.

Main AccountabilitiesDevelopment Program Design and Implementation
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive people development programs, including leadership development, career progression, and succession planning.
- Ensure programs align with organizational goals, address the developmental needs of employees at all levels, and incorporate continuous improvement and innovation practices.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in people development.
Leadership and Coaching
- Provide coaching and mentorship to employees and managers to support their professional growth. Establish Mentorship and Coaching Programs
- Collaborate with Manager of Training and Instructional Design to develop and deliver training sessions on leadership, communication, and other soft skills essential for career development.
Performance Management
- Oversee the performance management process, ensuring clear objectives are set and performance is regularly reviewed.
- Implement strategies to improve performance, including training and development plans for underperforming employees.
Talent Management and Succession Planning
- Identify high-potential employees and develop tailored development plans to prepare them for future leadership roles.
- Manage succession planning processes to ensure a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical roles.
DEI, Employee Engagement and Retention
- Oversee and champion the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) program and foster initiatives that promote cultural awareness and belonging.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to understand employee needs and address concerns.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with senior leadership, HR, and department managers to identify development needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Act as a liaison between employees and management to foster open communication and a positive work environment.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect and analyze data on development program outcomes and employee performance to measure effectiveness.
- Leverage technology for accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on development initiatives, engagement levels, and retention rates, ensuring alignment with industry trends and best practices.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in people development, organizational development, or a related field, preferably within the airline catering, hospitality, or food service industries.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful development programs.
- Experience working in a large, fast-paced environment with multiple site locations highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) are a plus.
- Strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation in development programs.
- Ability to leverage technology to enhance learning experiences and program delivery.
- Must be willing and able to work onsite at our North American headquarters in the Irving, Texas
- Occasional travel when necessary up to 25%
