- The Child Support Services Administrative Specialist II is responsible for receiving and processing employer information for the Child Support Services Division. Enters data into the Palmetto Automated Child Support System (PACSS). Performs clerical tasks for the Employer Services Unit.
- Performs job delivery and/or performance or appropriate customer service delivery to clients, the public, and co-workers as an integral requirement. To ensure that personal identifying information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared and disposed. To protect the Agency networks and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment and data.
- Conducts research and outreach to employers and other parties maintained in the automated system to document appropriate contact and benefit information. Updates and verifies records as needed in a timely manner. Maintains other data within the automated system for court, private attorneys and other parties integral to the provisions of Child Support Services.
- Responds to system user alerts, inquiries, and other related issues regarding wage withholding and other issues related to the Employer Services Unit. Monitors income withholding compliance. Provides guidance to employers on the income withholding process and individual withholdings.
- Troubleshoots problems by analyzing, identifying, and diagnosing faults and symptoms using established procedures and processes. Tracks, escalates, and communicates unresolved issues to the appropriate staff member. Assists with reports to management primarily by using the problem ticket system to track work and status. Provides problem resolution information to others with in the ticket system for shared use.
- Performs other duties as required. Performs Red Cross Shelter Duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed.
