Our mission is to license efficiently and regulate fairly, and we strive to meet this goal in our day-to-day operations.The Work You Will Do:This full-time position fulfills public records requests and manages records until retention is met and destruction is complete.Your Specific Responsibilities:
- Processes Public Record requests and maintains all documentation within the department system in accordance with department and division policy and procedure. Ensures that no confidential materials are disseminated pursuant to governing statutes.
- Acts as a backup in performing duties of other support staff, including phone duties, scanning documents, mail processing, and assigning CCC escalations in accordance with division procedure.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to use available technology to perform duties, including computer software, hardware, and data systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public professionally and courteously
- Ability to monitor and coordinate with support personnel and ensure their work product quality, quantity, and timeliness
- Ability to apply Chapters 119, 326, 718, 719, 721 & 723, FS, and related rules
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to assist in the training of personnel
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; AND
- Three years administrative office experience; OR
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university and one year administrative office experience; OR
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
