Job description: Job Title: Mechanical DesignerJob DescriptionResponsible for assignments of drafting, designing, documentation of Mechanical/Electrical design projects related to power generators. Develops detailed design drawings and related specifications of engine and generator structural equipment. Analyze engineering sketches, specifications, and related data and drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts. Interpret verbal or written direction to initiate a preliminary design.Hard Skills
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience
- 5+ years of SolidWorks/Vault experience
- 5+ years of 2D Modeling Experience
- 5+ years of BOM (Bill of Materials) experience
- High school diploma required
- Power Generation/Generator background
- Microgrid background a plus
