Job title: Sr Designer for Large Scale Events

Job description: Leading consulting company is looking for a Sr Designer with large scale event experience to work with their team on a contract basis.Length of Contract: 3-6 months
Hours: 9 am – 6 pm ET with flexibility to meet business and contractor needs
Locations: Atlanta, Charlotte, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, St. Louis or Tampa. Boston, Chicago and Philadelphia and other locations will also be considered.Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related discipline or equivalent work experience
- Creative digital portfolio demonstrating outstanding conceptual thinking and design skills
- Five-plus years of related experience as a senior graphic designer, preferably in event design
- Experience working in a fast paced, matrixed agency or in-house team environment to develop a range of creative initiatives
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
- Strong knowledge and skills in designing interactive and static presentations
- Ability to understand the internal client’s vision through active listening, advanced communication and diplomacy with business partners, project owners, managers and internal team members
- Ability to develop creative briefs, mood and image boards
- Ability to strategize and lead ideation sessions with creative colleagues and clients
- Advanced technical understanding of digital media and print design in-house and with vendors
- Opportunity to travel to onsite event in October 2024
