Job description: Come create your career with Volt!Volt is immediately hiring for Part Cleaner in Gardena, CA.As a Part Cleaner you will:Typically level one wash operators demonstrate Deburr level two competencies. Level one wash operators interpret work instructions and routers, verify part, maintain daily job log, perform visual inspection insuring there is no contamination, or part damage, load the parts in the machine, load the program in the machine. Understanding and familiarity with customer specification such AS9100 requirements perform final visual inspection, complete required job documentation such perform first articles and E1 system updates. May also perform passivation tasks, which requires knowledge of passivation procedures and materials. Typically, 1-4 Years of Exp.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Passivate parts using the nitric acid tank
- Perform AQL inspection for every job order
- Wash parts by using Elba machines and or hand wash
- Process parts into humidity chamber
- Maintain a daily job out log record
- Post E1 production
- Review chemical expiration date
Required Skills:
- The ability to read and write English.
- Ability to identify different types of materials
- Ability to clean the passivation tanks
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures
- Ability to document all the cleaning process at passivation and deburr
- Ability to perform other activities as required
Required Experience:
- Typically 1-4 Years
Level of Education:
- GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.
