Join us and our 18,000 colleagues now and together we will make the world a brighter place.What We OfferThe primary responsibility of this role is to provide I&E (instrumentation and electrical) / PCT (process control technology) engineering services for the preparation and execution of I&E/PCT portions of projects for chemical manufacturing facilities.Major ResponsibilitiesContribute to instrumentation and electrical (I&E) and process control technology (PCT) engineering and services for the preparation and execution of I&E and PCT portions of projects for chemical manufacturing facilities;Lead small project PCT teamsPreparation of estimates, scopes, specifications, design and other deliverables;Evaluate all PCT aspects of engineering to ensure all project objectives including safety, technical correctness, budget, constructability, schedule, maintainability and operability are met;Interface with other engineering disciplines or departments, customers and vendors or suppliers to ensure successful development and execution of projects;Modify existing or create new I&E or PCT procedures, standards and practices to stay current with technology and implement improved methods.Produce, Review and approve I&E and PCT specifications, drawings and other documentation, assist in compiling construction packages;What You OfferBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Chemical or related degree with a strong interest in process control systemsThe eligibility to apply for and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within a reasonable timeframePreferred QualificationsExperience at chemical facilities in I&E or PCT design and engineeringKnowledge & Skills:Knowledge of field instrumentation and low/medium voltage electrical systems used in industrial processes;Strong computer hardware and software skills;Knowledge of safety systemsKnowledge of relevant national international standards in process control, low voltage electrical and instrumentation;Systematic approach to problem definition and solution development;Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to deal with various engineering, maintenance, and operations and suppliers of PCT material and services;Excellent verbal and written skills to communicate with and obtain cooperation from team members involved with engineering, design, check out, commissioning and startup#LI-AD1#LI-HybridYOUR APPLICATIONAre you as curious, courageous and colorful as we are?
