Job description: Overview:This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. Candidates must be located a commutable distance from the office.This Business Systems Specialist position provides technical support to business systems, projects, or programs. Monitors usability of assigned function, identifying and resolving process issues through system testing. Assists users with daily requests and troubleshooting. Provides reviews, reports, and other documentation to track performance and determine business requirements. Aids in administrative and operational tasks as needed to ensure a functional user experience. Responsibilities:
- System Testing – Evaluates usability through continuous monitoring, testing, and review of function processes. Identifies discrepancies and inefficiencies, and assists in implementing recommended enhancements.
- Operational Support – Provides daily support by responding to inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to improve the end-user experience. Performs various operational tasks to improve workflow and system functionality for assigned business unit.
- Identifying Business Requirements – Determines business requirements and communicates them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation.
- Technical Proficiency – Provides knowledge in area of work. Assists in troubleshooting for both internal and external parties. May assist in system, application, or product implementation and development.
Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in SystemsPreferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong excel skills (standard reporting)
- Strong critical thinking skills
