The Sales Development Representative is a big step for the Divelement team and the first hired professional of our outbound Sales operations. The Business Development Representative is adept in the functionality and use of various software coding languages and delivery functions. They will take ownership of the client’s vision and work cross-functionally with the Marketing and Solutions team to generate client interest. They will support our efforts in developing the outbound Sales best practices, participate in continuous development, and share an interest in igniting a passion for self-accountability and maintaining Divelement’s status as one of the best places to work.WHO YOU AREYou are a motivated Sales Development Representative looking to join a growing team at a dynamic Tech Consulting Startup. You understand the impact of outbound lead generation on a small organization and are skilled at identifying and engaging with prospective clients. Your goal will be to contribute to the company’s overall revenue growth.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate a minimum of 2 net new prospective clients per month based on Divelement’s ICP requirements
- Build and maintain an outbound list of prospects
- Conduct outbound prospecting and lead generation activities to identify potential clients through calling, emailing, connections, and when appropriate, events
- Qualify and engage with leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach
- Conduct thorough research on target industries and companies to identify their needs and pain points
- Schedule and conduct initial meetings to present our services and understand client requirements. Not responsible for Demos or SOW creation.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Solutions team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads for further sales process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system
- Act as a technical advisor, demonstrating a deep understanding of our web app and mobile application development process, technologies, and industry trends
- Help to identify expansion, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities with the CSM
Requirements:
- Proven experience in outbound lead generation or sales development
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a desire to meet and exceed monthly lead-generation goals
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools, with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies
