This position will work no more than 39 hours per week. The hiring pay range for this position $21.47/hour – $26.84/hour, based on experience, and is eligible to enroll in the City and County of Denver’s 457b retirement plan. This position is not eligible for other additional benefits. On‐call positions may have routine or variable work schedules.Location and ScheduleIn this position you can expect to work primarily on-site at the Denver Post Building (101 W. Colfax Ave., Denver). This position is expected to work between 30 – 39 hours per week on a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. For more information about Denver’s Department of Parks and Recreation,The Recreation Administration Office has an opening for a part-time Administrative Assistant IV position. This position will report to the Business Operations Administrator supporting the daily office operation that includes one Deputy Manager of Recreation, four Directors of Recreation, one Safety Manager, and one System Administrator. The Administrative Assistant will carry out tasks and complete projects, as assigned. This position is the first point of contact for the administrative offices of DPR and must be able to multi-task and prioritize based on business needs.As an Administrative Assistant supporting DPR Business Operations, you will:Act as a primary point of contact for DPR customers via phone and 311 reports to address registration inquiries and other concerns in a timely manner using world-class serviceManage multiple email inboxes for Recreation to answer and dispatch communications to the appropriate individual or teamManage, order, track, and deliver office and recreation suppliesTravel between and provide operational and administrative support at a recreation center or program area, as neededProcess, manage, & track all specialized membership sales i.e., Denver Health, For Profit/Non-Profit Group passes, Corporate passes, etc.Receiving and process promotional passes and giveawaysProcess and track PLAY Financial Assistance ApplicationsProcess and submit orders for business cardsReceive, process, and respond to donation requestsActiveNet data entry, system maintenance, and customer account mergingPerform other duties, as assignedWhat You’ll BringOur ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail and have excellent customer service skills.
