Job description: Position Title: Hybrid Systems Development EngineerPosition Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Contract Hybrid Systems Development Engineer opportunity located in Bellevue, WA.Job Responsibilities:
- Support provisioning, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) products.
- Working with modern endpoint management and provisioning systems using cloud-based backend infrastructure.
- Developing 1st party or Deploying 3rd Party Software Patching Systems.
- Developing/Deploying/Managing Modern Endpoint Systems to deliver software to users like SSM/SCCM/Endpoint Management/JAMF.
- Deploying/Managing OS Imaging and Image Deployment Services in hybrid physical and cloud environments with tools such as PXE boot, Golden Images, and WinPE.
- Design and build endpoint management solutions for application, configuration, and compliance.
- Heavy focus on automation for management tasks and building self-healing services.
- Deploy Infra as Code with Chef, Puppet, Ansible, CDK, DSC via CI/CD.
- Build endpoint device and systems management solutions on AWS.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of Systems Development experience, including hands-on development work.
- 5+ years of experience working on hybrid AWS Cloud and server-class on-premise infrastructure.
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming language such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems or web services.
- Experience in managing large scale infrastructure and automation.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Cisco Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / Professional (CCNP).
- AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Red Hat Certificated Systems Administrator (RHCSA).
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
Job Details:

- Pay Rate Range: $70 – 100/hr.
