- Experience conducting literature and online research on federal government legal rulings, policies, or laws
- Experience performing research on policy that may impact a federal government agency or program
- Experience supporting the development of project deliverables (e.g., position papers, guides, cognitive interview materials, presentations)
- Experience providing administrative research support
- Experience maintaining documents and records
- Experience utilizing external resources to contribute to tasks and deliverables
- Experience performing project administrative tasks (e.g., meetings, schedules, document management)
- Experience collecting, maintaining, and reporting on quantitative and qualitative data
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Above average experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Strong problem-solving and analysis skills
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- Experience supporting a federal contractor providing services to the federal government
- Knowledge of federal civilian agencies (e.g., Department of Veterans Affairs (preferred), Defense Health Agency, Health and Human Services) (preferred)
Security: Ability to obtain/maintain a Federal Civilian Public Trust
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident that has lived in the United States for at least 3 years
Federal Civilian Public Trust Consists of a review of up to but not limited to:
- Covers 5-10 year period and in some instances lifetime events
- OPM Security Investigations Index (SII)
- DOD Defense Central Investigations Index (DCII)
- National Agency Check (NAC) records
- FBI name check
- FBI fingerprint check
- Credit report check
- Written inquiries to previous employers and references listed on the application for employment

Tasks/activities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducts detailed and thorough research on federal government legal rulings, policies, or laws
- Collects research and data to support position papers, guides, briefs, and cognitive interview materials
- Performs qualitative and quantitative literature research
- Utilizes external resources to contribute to literature research
- Facilitates communication based on research findings
- Documents and maintains accurate and detailed records
- Utilizes external resources to supplement, organize, and contribute to tasks and deliverables
- Supports strategic planning, governance, and policy team activities
- Prepares and edits correspondence and presentations on research findings for various stakeholder groups
- Ensures timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual quantitative and qualitative project and data reports supporting contractual and company requirements
- Files and retrieves electronic documents and reference materials
- Tracks and reports status on deliverables, work products, and other team activities weekly
- Creates/manages project team and client SharePoint repositories ensuring data integrity
- Manages project processes and templates
- Collects, tracks, and reports project team action items
