Direct hire position; unable to sponsor
Hybrid position (must be local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area)Excellent IT Management opportunity for a strong Infrastructure/Distributed Systems professional! Opportunity to lead, manager, and mentor a team responsible for UNIX, Windows Servers, x86 Computing, Storage and Citrix XEN application delivery for a global leader!
Will be involved with management and operations to include working with business stakeholders to understand needs, usage, capacity requirements, provide infrastructure recommendations, performance monitoring/tuning, change management, and incident response/support. Will assist with annual budget process and will establish team objectives. Will monitor infrastructure health with metrics and reporting.Required Skills:
-5+ years IT Management experience; hiring, reviews, coaching
-Strong knowledge of UNIX system platforms
-Strong experience with x86 computing
-Strong experience with Windows Server Architecture, Virtualization, and Storage technology
-Strong Citrix Xen application delivery
-Knowledgeable regarding Telecom systems, LAN/WAN
-Experience supporting a 24×7 environment; able to work off hours as needed
-Excellent interpersonal skills; detail-oriented, organized, strong decision-making skills, collaborative!Education:
-Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
