Job description: Job SummaryThe Business Operations Analysts – Strategic will collaborate with multiple internal and external operations teams to provide our strategic partners with systems administration, ad-hoc reporting, and data analysis and while communicate processes to teams.Business Operations Analysts – Strategic leverage IT and systems tools to implement and improve business processes within SHI. They work with system users and stakeholders to understand their needs, identify a solution, and coordinate with stakeholders across multiple business units to implement it. Business Operations Analysts must have an excellent understanding of internal IT systems, and how they are used by SHI.This position reports to the Sr. Director of Sales Strategy – Strategic, and is remote but may be required to occasionally report the SHI headquarters as determined by management.About UsSince 1989, SHI International Corp. has helped organizations change the world through technology. ResponsibilitiesIncluded, but are not limited to the following:
- Create reports and dashboards to present the health of business and future trends with key performance indicators
- Communicate team process and act as a liaison for the Operations teams and other company teams guiding all through the process
- Regularly meets with user groups to better understand their application usage, goals, and issues
- Define business and technical requirements for qualified requests, and defines a project scope
- Data management and manipulation for operations systems including but not limited to; Dynamics CRM, Dynamics PSA, Dynamics AX, PowerBI, MS Teams
- SharePoint site management and maintenance
- BI Reporting and data analysis for team and/or projects
- Manage small and medium project from discovery to close, providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and business units on large projects to provide requirements, act as a subject matter expert when defining a solution, and coordinating user acceptance testing
- Collaborates with support analysts on rolling out system change, and their potential impact to system support
- Continually analyze process to develop new and better ways of doing things that will benefit team
- Recommends and updates policies and procedures improving business efficiencies
- Enhance workflow and cross departmental engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or technology or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in data analysis and or IT operations
- Microsoft Office applications, in particular Teams, Outlook and Excel
- Business Familiarity with key Technologies and Solutions
- Experience using Dynamics CRM, Excel, Power BI
Required Skills
- Ability to translate a desired result into actionable business and/or technical requirements
- Fluent and proficient in Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Ability to evaluate a process, and recognize areas for improvement
- Ability to investigate a problem, find the root cause, and define a solution
- Ability to take ownership of, and manage, several projects at the same time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, being able to effectively communicate will all levels of users, from entry level positions, to C-level leadership
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and follow up skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to execute on shared deadlines and goals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
- Able to be assertive and drive projects to completion while overcoming internal and external barriers
- Business Analysis Skills
Unique Requirements
- 10% of travel required for customer meetings and SHI locations
Additional Information
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $70,000 – $105,000 which includes a base salary and commission. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
