Prefer candidates that have experience with Excel/MS

Responsibilities at NYC Customer Site
1. Facilities and Laboratory Operations
a. Equipment Upkeep
Arrange preventative maintenance (PM) and maintain PM tracking software for non-managed equipment.
Maintain stock of materials and perform routine maintenance (e.G., defrosting refrigerators).
– Monitor equipment functionality and notify Operations Manager of failures.
– Collaborate with vendors on equipment repairs.
– Manage equipment use logs and capital equipment tracking documentation.
– Support equipment metrics by monitoring usage and comparing against reservation systems and logs.b. Common Equipment Training
Provide basic operating training on common lab equipment to licensees as needed.
Assist with equipment troubleshooting and supplemental resources.
Stay current with instrumentation operation through continuing education.
Assist in writing Work Instructions based on manufacturer documentation.c. Customer Help Desk Management
– Respond to all tickets in the tracking system within 4 hours during business hours.
– Triage tickets to appropriate personnel and escalate unresolved issues to Operations Manager.d. Procurement Management
Assist with obtaining quotes, preparing purchase orders, and vendor follow-up for lab and facility needs.e. Cold Storage
Support shared storage allocation and signage.
Monitor cryogenic gas and dry ice usage.
Support cold storage monitoring through software systems.f. Lab Upkeep
– Ensure signage accuracy during company transitions.
– Support general upkeep of shared lab areas.g. Shipping and Receiving (S&R)
Provide backup support to Clean Harbors In-Site Technician.
Ensure efficient processing and notification of shipments.
Store unclaimed packages appropriately and verify compliance with customer policies.
Support return-to-sender processes and maintain S&R area.2. Customer Service
a. Licensee Onboarding and Offboarding
Support onboarding/offboarding activities including lab and office preparation and communication.
b. Specialty Capital Equipment Training
Notify Operations Manager of training requests.
Prepare documentation and coordinate training between vendors and licensees.
c. Facility Modification
Communication license modification requests.
Coordinate approved changes and escort contractors as needed.
3. Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
a. EHS Policy Compliance
Comply with Customer EHS policies and model best practices.
Support adherence to EHS standards for all stakeholders.
b. Safety Committee Meetings
Assist with meeting preparation, participate, record minutes, and support action item execution.
c. First Aid, CPR and On Site Emergency Response Team (ERT)
Assist with evacuation procedures and incident reporting.
Monitor corrective action plans with TMC Operations Manager.
d. Training and Policies
Support creation and validation of Standard Operating Guidelines (SOGs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Assist in updating training materials using Customer tools.
e. Site Audit Support
Prepare site for inspections and monitor completion of corrective actions.
f. Clean Harbors In-Site Technician Assistance
Assist with hazardous waste bulking and safety shower testing as a backup.
Expected salary: $28 per hour
