This role plays a key part in supporting economic development initiatives through client support, organized communication, and administrative coordination. - Professionally answer and direct calls, assisting community members and partners.
- Maintain accurate client records and update internal databases with confidential information.
- Provide administrative support to the Economic Development team, including data entry, correspondence, and scheduling.
- Assist in the coordination of community events, business workshops, and outreach programs.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for economic development projects, grants, and compliance.
- Track office supplies and ensure resources are readily available for team operations.
- Represent the organization professionally when engaging with clients, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support across departments as needed to ensure effective service delivery.
Requirements:
- Previous administrative experience, preferably in economic development, nonprofit, or community-based settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Must pass a background check and drug screening (OMMA card not accepted)
