Job description: Job Title: Electrical DesignerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified Electrical Project Engineer or Senior Designer to join our team of professional and talented engineers, designers, and support staff. - Implement all facets of electrical design including lighting and lighting controls.
- Design normal power systems, standby/emergency power systems, and create one-line/riser diagrams.
- Conduct arc flash analysis and short-circuit studies.
- Coordinate with utility companies and select and specify equipment.
- Develop comprehensive electrical system designs and layouts.
- Perform field investigations and observations.
- Administer construction processes and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- E.I.T. certification (P.E. Registration preferred).
- 8+ years of project experience (10+ years for non-degreed candidates).
- Demonstrated technical expertise in major electrical systems.
- Familiarity with industry-related codes, standards, and guidelines.

- Ability to work within a multi-disciplined team.
- Provide guidance to less experienced engineers and designers.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), EasyPower or SKM, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit.
