Responsibilities
Price Check Process (Daily)
- Complete daily price checks
- Evolve process to capture complex pricing reviews, like bundle price submissions and expanded regional nuance
- Collaborate with internal teams on key launch ship-rooms and additional validation
Internal Discount Reporting (Weekly)
- Produce & maintain accurate monthly promotional reports for key financial meetings, including our Monthly Business Review
- Pull and validate internal special offer reporting summaries each month
- Share refreshed revenue data with other internal gaming teams to improve our prioritization and sales processes with smaller & indie publishers
Publisher Discount Reporting (Monthly)
- Maintain & evolve monthly and semi-annual discount reports for enhanced publisher discussions
- Maintain and improve the internal look-up file to make it easier to research past discounts, and validate cool-down policies
Insight and Recommendation Creation (Ongoing)
- Support the Discounting Lead by analyzing promotional performance data and generating actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to enhance discounting strategies, helping the Discounting Lead maximize revenue impact across special programs
- Collaborate with the Discounting Lead and internal teams to craft data-driven recommendations for improving publisher partnerships and delivering meaningful customer experiences.
- Leverage historical data to forecast future performance, identify gaps, and refine discounting policies in alignment with the Discounting Lead’s priorities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced Excel & Data Handling Skills: Highly proficient in Excel and data modeling with a strong ability to automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency.
- Proactive self-starter: Strong curiosity and initiative to improve upon process or make recommendations without explicit instructions to do so. Ability to solve problems independently.
- Agility in Ambiguity: Confidently adjust to evolving business needs, proactively anticipate challenges, and manage varying demands from stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Highly Detailed and Quality-Focused: Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate and polished reports.
- Effective Communication: Prepares clear, accurate, and understandable written text, along with strong verbal communication.
- PST Working Hours – Must be consistently available for PST working hours (8am-5pm PST)
- Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team, supporting leads and collaborating across teams to achieve shared goals.
- Analytical Thinking and Insight Generation: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and turn complex datasets into actionable insights and recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven success on past Microsoft projects
- Strong interest and/or experience in the gaming industry “
