Job description: Electrical / Instrument Designer (Contract) Ponca City, OKWe have an exciting contract opportunity for an Electrical / Instrument Designer in Ponca City, OK. This role supports Refinery Technical Services (RTS) projects, focusing on electrical and instrumentation drawings.Position Details:
- Full-time, Monday Friday (8-hour shifts)
- Overtime may be available
- Lead a team of designers and drafters, ensuring tasks are organized and efficiently executed
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify electrical and instrumentation designs using CAD software (15+ years of experience preferred)
- Apply National Electrical Code knowledge to project designs
- Play a key leadership role within the project design team
- Collaborate with a diverse group, including mechanical craftsmen, engineers, and contractors
- Maintain a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MicroStation and AutoCAD
- Associate Degree in Design, Drafting, or Engineering Technology
- Experience with SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation)
