Compensation Range: $30 – 35 per hourWe’re looking for a detail-oriented Technical Designer to support our Product Development Design Production Team. The ideal candidate will adapt artwork to be print production ready and accurately templated, while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Template Hard Home vendor-ready production files.
- Create technically correct new product templates.
- Work directly with Senior Technical Designer to receive projects and priorities.
- Prioritize schedule according to time and action deadlines.
- Build, review and confirm files that accurately reflect design comments and PD execution notes.
- Print out color correct files for visual review.
- Maintain a high level of organization and communication with Senior Technical Designer, Senior Designers and Manager of Design.
- Ensure quality execution of finished product.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Technical Product Development Design, preferably in Hard Home or Stationery.
- Production-ready file experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Ability to handle multiple projects with flexibility and ease while meeting or exceeding deadlines.
- Review and articulate ideas on work in progress quickly and clearly while collaborating with others.
- Ability to solicit and listen to feedback including constructive criticism from leadership and peers.
- Ability to interpret conceptual design ideas.
- Works well both independently and in a team environment with an eagerness to learn.
Skills:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization, attention to detail and follow through skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
