Job description: ESTIMATOR – Site Development & PavingWell established, 50+yr, local paving company is seeking an experienced Estimator within Site Development & Paving to join their team. They offer a variety of services including Asphalt Paving and Repairs, Roads, Parking Lot Construction, DOT, Concrete, and Site Development, Excavation, Utilities! No overnight travel necessary.Description:This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Estimator. The Project Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost estimates for the various project types above. The successful candidate will work closely with the other departments and project managers to analyze project requirements, develop cost estimates, and provide necessary documentation to the project team.Qualifications
- 3+yrs Experience Heavy & Civil Construction Estimating
- Experience in cost management, budgeting, and construction estimating
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in project estimation, analysis, and documentation
- Ability to analyze and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Microsoft Office and Experience with HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek, or similar is a plus
