The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and safety.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Willingness to work 2nd shift hours.
