To apply, click “Apply to Job” online on this web page.Data Developer ResponsibilitiesApply quantitative skills to and incorporate qualitative insights to inform and influence strategy for Global Operations.Partner with Operations, Data Science, Data Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities.Analyze data, conduct research, and synthesize feedback into plans, processes, and playbooks.Utilize experience with data visualization tools (e.g.Tableau, Looker) and proficiency querying and manipulating complex raw datasets for analysis using SQL and scripting languages such as PHP, Python, and Perl to build and maintain data infrastructure (data pipelines, aggregated data sets, reports, dashboards) to monitor the performance of our operations and drive business understanding.Drive demand forecasting, scenario planning, and prioritization to optimize the community and business impact of our operational expenditures.Work as a member of Meta’s Central Analytics team to employ the Global Operations organization to be self-sufficient in tactical decision-making and drive operations strategy through objective analysis.Provide accurate, reliable, and accessible business metrics and contextualize metrics in operational performance with research and advanced analysis.Minimum QualificationsRequires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field and two years of work experience in the job offered or in a data analytics/engineering or computer-related occupation.Requires two years of experience in the following:1. Distributed computing (Hive or Hadoop)2. Developing data pipelines via SQL and Python-based ETL framework3. Releasing code into production4. Extracting and manipulating data to drive projects5. Querying and manipulating complex raw datasets for analysis using SQL and at least one scripting language (PHP, Python, or Perl)6. Data visualization tools (Tableau or Looker)7. Reporting systems, data pipeline architecture, and data modeling8.
