Job description: ITS has a client in the Canton, OH area seeking an Electrical Engineering PM. This is a direct hire role with awesome benefits, possible relo and bonus potentail.Responsibilites
- Increase plant productivity by implement continuous improvement plans of the plants.
- Improve product quality by meeting customer (internal/external) expectations. Establish and maintain standards of quality to ensure project effectiveness.
- Provide a technical, economic, and risk assessment of ideas and projects and then define project objectives and the activities and resources needed for their achievement.
- Independently be able to make decisions on engineering problems and methodology which require a broad, comprehensive knowledge of equipment and practices and uses sound judgement and creative imagination.
- Lead and manage projects to meet the desired goal in set time frame and within budget. Projects range in value from a few thousand to 50M. Complexities include what is described above plus fundamental under-standing of the electrical engineering principals involved in a process to evaluate the ability of equipment and process to meet customer expectations, writing specifications for the purchase of equipment, guiding equipment engineering, procuring or performing the installation engineering, writing installation specifications, selection of installation contractors, assuring compliance with all OSHA safety regulations in the design and installation of equipment, basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, piping, civil, electrical components, sensors, process control, ergonomics, work flow and building principles for a complete facility.
- Improve equipment reliability including failure analysis, PLC programming capabilities to design, trouble shoot and startup equipment.
- Optimal levels of internal and external communications.
- Establish and maintain standards of quality to ensure project effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain knowledge on theories and practices relating to engineering and manufacturing practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering with 7 years of experience in equipment design, project management, and/or personnel management.
- Masters Degree in Engineering or Business with 5 years of experience in equipment design, project management, and/or personnel management.
Expected salary: $87000 – 150000 per year
