Job description: We have an immediate need for a Plumbing Designer in Peachtree Corners, GA. This is a direct hire opportunity with a direct salary range of $80-100k+, relevant to experience and education.Job description:
- Domestic, hot water, sanitary and storm systems design for commercial and multifamily buildings.
- Work on a variety of projects, from small to large, providing a high level of plumbing design.
- Represent the Firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members.
- Make site visits to analyze facility conditions and to ensure project meets design specifications, building codes, and owner expectations.
- Design and prepare drawings for plumbing systems for both high-rise and low-rise building projects.
- Formulate project observation reports, respond to RFIs and review project submittals.
Required:
- This position requires strong technical abilities, Revit proficiency with strong AutoCad experience as well.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work well in a team environment.
- At least 5 years of experience working as a plumbing designer.
- Minimum of a 2 year Technical / Associates Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to follow and adhere to design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects
- Taking the lead designer role for a project
Preferred:
- CPD
- Office, hospitality, tenant, mixed use design experience
- Fire Protection experience
Expected salary: $80000 – 100000 per year
