- BS Degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
- 6-10 years of experience in moderate to complex production tool designs
- Experience creating 3D models and drawings using parametric CAD software, preferably Creo.
- Thorough understanding of current Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing practices.
- Ability to take measurements using basic tools such as calipers, micrometers & gauges.
- Experience with PLM software, preferably Teamcenter.
- Knowledge of many manufacturing processes.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Able to handle more than one project at a time.
- Experience with Microsoft office tools; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams.
- Must be a US Citizen
Responsibilities:
- Under direct supervision, the candidate must be able to work with a team of production engineers and new product development groups to develop new production tooling designs and solutions to existing tooling problems using CAD software.
- These new designs and changes will then be released by the design group into the company database using PLM software.
- This candidate must also provide technical assistance to the tooling fabrication department.
