We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in Pittston, PA.Job Summary:The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of People & Culture and the People & Culture team. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Administrative Support:
- Assist the Director of People & Culture with daily administrative tasks.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
- Handle incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate parties.
Office Management:
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare travel itineraries for the team.
HR Support:
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy.
- Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews and managing applicant tracking.
Event Coordination:
- Assist in planning and coordinating company events and meetings.
- Arrange logistics for training sessions, workshops, and other departmental activities.
Project Assistance:
- Support special projects as assigned by the Director of People & Culture.
- Conduct research and compile data for various projects and reports.
Requirements– At least 1 year of experience working in a busy office environment.– Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.– Strong interpersonal skills.– Excellent written and oral communication skills.– Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities.– Keen attention to detail.– Ability to work independently and take initiative.– Friendly, confident, and professional attitude.– A degree or qualification in Business Administration or Secretarial studies is advantageous.– Minimum of a high school diploma.
